Theme
The theme is quite obvious – bees and honey. These adorable, buzzy creatures are very generous, both with money and honey. Symbols
Players will encounter a total of eight symbols in the paytable. Four are low-paying – a small blue viola, a pink hibiscus, a pink rose, and a yellow sunflower. The remaining four are high-paying – a bronze coin with a honey drop, a silver coin with a honeycomb, a gold coin with a bumblebee, and a diamond, which is the most rewarding of the lot.
You will also encounter another generous symbol when spinning the reels of Honey Rush. That is the Wild, which is depicted as a honey pot. This icon can substitute for others on the grid and may also carry multipliers.
Winning Combinations and Jackpots
To form a winning combination, players must land a cluster of five or more symbols. The cluster must consist solely of adjacent icons. Doing so awards the corresponding payout.
The highest-paying combination you can land consists of 35 or more icons. If you manage to hit a cluster of 35 or more of any low-paying symbol, you will receive 20x your stake.
Players who manage to form a cluster of 35 or more bronze coins will receive 50x their bet. A group of 35 or more silver coins pays 75x the wager, while the gold coin awards 100x. Finally, if you create a cluster of 35 or more diamonds, you will win 200x the initial stake.
You will notice that Honey Rush includes the cascading feature we all love. Whenever a winning combination lands, the contributing symbols are removed from the grid and make way for new icons to cascade into the empty spaces. This fun mechanic allows for consecutive wins.
Players will also enjoy the Colony Feature, which comprises three types of colonies – the Drone Colony, the Worker Colony, and the Queen Colony. The Drone Colony clones the center symbol at least seven times, the Worker Colony clones it seven to fifteen times, and the Queen Colony clones the center symbol between 29 and 37 times. The Worker Colony can be triggered randomly, while the other two may only be activated via the Rush Meter.
There is a Rush Meter to the left of the reels. It fills up by one rush for every symbol that participates in consecutive cascades, including those from the initial spin. The meter has four levels, achieved after 20, 40, 80, and 160 rushes.
Levels one, two, and three activate the Drone Colony and award one sticky Wild each time. However, if you are lucky enough to reach level four, you will trigger the Queen Colony.
Wild symbols are awarded exclusively via the Rush Meter. They may carry multipliers of 2x or 3x and are sticky. Every time you land a win, they shift to an adjacent position before the remaining symbols disappear from the reels, increasing your chances of landing the top payout of 9,000x the stake.
