King’s Casino Launches the Indian Poker Series with €10,000 GTD Welcome Event

King’s Casino in Rozvadov is one of the hottest venues in Europe this month as the Indian Poker Series festival recently began and is already granting pro players with fair cash prizes. The first tournament to see its Final Table was the TIPS Welcome Event which brought Petr Hora to the first place, featuring a payout reaching €3,153 for his deep run in the poker congregation.

Many players find it appealing to participate in the first event of a given poker festival, as this gives them a better idea of the overall player level of preparation and provides them with the chance to warm up for more action while there are still not that many participants present. This first event in the diverse schedule of the poker festival managed to draw some 120 players to the poker tables and gave them the chance to make it all the way to the top and the cash prizes coming with those spots on the rank list.

The first player to make it in the cash payouts was Varun Gajnoo from India who claimed the minimum cash prize of €197. The runner-up position following the heads-up duel was claimed by Ion Tabacaru from Romania, who had to settle for the consolation prize of €2,132. The third position was claimed by Soufiane Jardi coming straight from France in order to bag some €1,386. The Final Table did not see a deal being arranged among the top players.

Poker Players Commence Race for the Big Cashes

Once this event was over players were already preparing for the upcoming events which would transform King’s Casino into a poker heaven well into 19th August. Culminating event preparation begins this Thursday as the first Satellite to TIPS Main Event Day 1a. It starts three hours before the official starting flight and aims to attract more players at a smaller price. TIPS Main Event features a buy-in of €220 while the satellite event amounts to some €40 only.

With a total of four regular starting flights and a fifth Turbo one on Sunday, this event is projected to attract the attention of many players. The guaranteed prize pool is set to €100,000 but it is highly possible that it would be surpassed. Final Day of action would take place on Sunday, providing all survivors with the chance to claim top prizes.

Shortly after the end of this tournament, there would be a Satellite for the generous TIPS Highroller tournament which would provide players with the chance to make it in the premium event.Buy-in for the Highroller would amount to €500 while the Satellite one reaches €80. Guaranteed prize pool for this event amounts to €30,000, with a potential to be surpassed due to the significant interest surge associated with premium events at poker festivals.
