PokerStars Festival Sochi 2017: What to Expect?

PokerStars continues providing exciting events to the poker world and the next one is scheduled to commence on 16th October. The PokerStars Festival Sochi promises a Main Event featuring a $500,000 (RUB30,000,000) guaranteed prize pool which is sure to attract the attention of thousands of poker players from around the world. The poker festival is scheduled to continue a whole week, giving everyone the opportunity to participate in the wide variety of poker tournaments on offer.

Tons of Exciting Poker Events Await the Poker Players

This year was a strong one for the poker world since all poker enthusiasts were introduced to many new poker championships, one of which the PokerStars Championship. It managed to go through many countries and its stops were welcomed with big interest. One of these stops was Sochi and now PokerStars is going to treat the location with yet another poker festival making an appearance in the holiday resort. The people responsible for the organization have ensured that there are poker events for every level of proficiency, from fairly new players in the live tournaments world to high rollers ready to spend thousands for a place at a poker tournament.

Starting with the first poker tournament in the festival, the PokerStars Megastack will welcome its participants on the 16th. The event is planned to continue two days, ending on the 18th and it could be classified as boasting one of the smallest buy-ins in the festival – $180 (RUB11,000). Something which should be taken into account is that it is going to allow a single re-entry per flight. Following closely is going to be the culmination of the festival, the Main Event, which is going to feature a buy-in amounting to $1,100 (RUB66,000). The No-Limit Hold’em tournament is planned to be one of the longer ones and it will commence on the 19th, continuing well through the 22nd.

A parallel event which the festival has on offer is the No-Limit Hold’em Sochi Poker Cup which features a $370 buy-in (RUB22,800). It is going to begin on the 20th and continue until the 22nd October. Probably the most anticipated tournament after the Main Event, is going to be the No-Limit Hold’em High Roller. Featuring a $2,200 buy-in (RUB132,000), the event will commence on the 21st and it will finish on the 22nd. It is expected to be attended by some of the biggest players from around the world, so poker enthusiasts already rejoice in the perspective of a good game.

The PokerStars Festival Sochi is going to take place at Sochi Casino and Resort, which is the holder of the license and operator of the poker festival. As usually, all participants should be above 18 and they will have the opportunity to meet Team PokerStars Pros, guaranteeing an eventful week.
