How it works
Click2Pay, just like any e-wallet system is your bank on the internet. You can link it to any bank account and directly pay from the bank account, unlike other e-wallet systems where there is an extra step of adding funds to the e-wallet. Registration for Click2Pay is slightly lengthier than for the other e-wallets due to extra layers of security but this is for your benefit.
When you have enough money in your poker account, you will want to withdraw it to your Click2Pay account. For this, just enter the amount you wish to withdraw and provide the Click2Pay details, and the system will take care of the rest.
Once the money is with Click2Pay, you can choose to spend it online or transfer it to a credit card account, or request a check but cannot transfer it back to the bank account. Requesting a check costs €2 and transferring to the credit card account costs around 1-2% of the funds. The entire transaction takes around 2-3 business days and usually requires authorizations at different levels, again for your security.
Restrictions
Click2Pay is a global service, but its use with online poker sites is banned in the United States. This is in compliance with the federal laws that ban international online gambling. The main drawback of this e-wallet is that you cannot transfer funds into a bank account but requesting checks is quite cheap, so it is compensation enough.
