Playtech Accompanies Girls in Tech to Establish Gibraltar Chapter

Gibraltar welcomes Girls in Tech as its new partner, aiming to improve the iGaming market with new and fresh ideas, which are developed by girls and women, who are passionate about the constantly-developing market of technologies.

One of the major sponsors of the “women” organization is namely Playtech. It is one of the biggest software suppliers on the iGaming market. Thus, the partnership between the two companies is seen as an important step for the development of Girls in Tech. The main goal of this conjoint work is to increase the diversity in the gaming industry and improve the players’ experience from playing online.

The managers of Girls in Tech plan get-to-know presentation and tech talks, which will provide all the attendants of the event with a more clear vision of the company’s aims. The event is scheduled to take place on 1st June in the La Sala Sapphire Bar on deck 3 of the Sunborn Hotel. It became clear that the event is opened to people from the public and private sectors in Gibraltar, without any exception. They will emphasize on the importance of the women role in the technology sector. Cristina Turbatu, the Managing Director of Girls in Tech explained that Gibraltar is a major gambling stop and the advent of technologies is a vital step in the overall development of the gambling sector.

The strong ties between the international software provider Playtech and Gibraltar definitely helped Girls in Tech to launch its Gibraltar undertaking.
