Progressive Blackjack can be played with up to eight decks of cards, depending upon a particular casino's rules of play. Once you place your bet, the dealer gives you two cards face up while he deals himself one card down and one card face up. You can proceed to either take a hit or to stand. If your hand is closer to 21 than his without going over, you win the same amount as you bet. In the case that you are lucky enough to get blackjack, you win 3:2 the value of your wager unless the dealer also has a blackjack. In this case the game is a tie and you get your original wager back.

In order to win the progressive jackpot, you must have had placed a bonus bet. The bonus pays out after all of the cards have been dealt and all initial bets have been settled. The bonus payout is won if the player has been dealt one or more Aces and the size of the bonus is dictated by the suit and the number of Aces a player has.
