Amsterdam Welcomes World Poker Tour Joint Festival with WPTDeepStacks this April

The World Poker Tour is preparing for its long-anticipated poker festival which is going to turn Amsterdam into one of the hottest spots on the poker map. Mid-April the poker action is scheduled to commence and welcome all enthusiasts at the Holland Casino Amsterdam, located near one of the picturesque canals and everyone interested could register for participation in the various tournaments there will be on offer.

Ever since the beginning of this year, poker enthusiasts from around the world are eagerly anticipating the WPT Amsterdam festival which is scheduled to take place in the exciting capital of the Netherlands. The official tart of poker action will be given on 13th April with a kickstart and poker straight to the point, when WPTDeepStacks Amsterdam Main Event will commence. Poker action is scheduled to continue well into 21st April, giving all players the chance to participate. There will be three starting flights which will introduce people to the players pool and they will take place on Friday and Saturday.

In order to become part of the riveting action, all participants will have to pay as much as €1,500 buy-in which will reserve them a spot at one of the poker tables and the chance to put their poker skills to the test. When it comes to the starting chips which will be available for each participant, they will amount to 25,000 which will give them the opportunity to operate with them as they wish over the span of the culminating tournament.

This will be the fourth consecutive season of the World Poker Tour in the Netherlands and it is going to feature both a WPTDeepStacks event and a WPT Main Tour event.

Two Main Events on Offer

It could be recalled that Holland Casino was the location which hosted the first-ever WPT Main Tour event. As for the WPT Amsterdam Main Event, it will take place immediately after the WPTDeepStacks Amsterdam Main Event has finished and a winner has been chosen among all players.

Starting poker action on 16th April, Monday every enthusiast willing to register for the second culminating event will have the chance to do so. The buy-in for this event amounts to €3,300, guaranteeing a generous prize pool as well as considerable prizes for the top places on the official leader board.

There will be two starting flights in this poker tournament, giving players the chance to enter the field on Monday and Tuesday. Each of them will commence the race towards the throne with a total of 30,000 in chips, giving them all equal chances for winning. As for the registration window for this tournament, players will be able to find their spots until the start of Day 2.

If these two Main Events are not enough for the participants of the poker festival, there will also be the opening €330 Warm-Up event scheduled for April 13, as well as the €220 Pot-Limit Omaha on April 16. The €6,000 High Roller on April 19 is expected to also attract quite the attention.
