Scientific Games Marks 9.4-Percent Surge in 2017 4Q Revenue Rates

This week saw the official issuing of the company’s annual report which shed more light on the operation of the US-based supplier and its level of success when it comes to revenue.

The company witnessed a jump in the revenue for the last quarter of 2017, which is also the holiday season. This time period is typically associated with a surge in the revenue rates and relatively good performance of companies in the field. There was a 9.4-percent increase in the gaming revenue reported by the company in comparison to its performance during the last quarter of 2016. The total amount of revenue generated by Scientific Games is estimating to US$823.0 million, marking a considerable jump in the overall performance of the entity.

According to the information issued by the gaming developer, all three of its business segments, to the likings of gaming, lottery, and interactive, have demonstrated good performance throughout the fourth quarter of last year, thus boosting the collective revenue figures. Since the company managed to introduce a total of 10,249 new gaming devices to the global market and distributed them to their final destinations of operation, the gaming segment saw a 7-percent surge in its revenue rate. The exact quarterly record it has amounted to US$492.5 million.

Upwards Trend of Development for the Company

The slot devices sales also saw an increase which reached an increase of 12 percent for the last quarter of 2017, compared to the same time period in 2016 and reaching US$189.8 million.
