Horseshoe Casino to be opened in Cincinnati

Horseshoe Casino to be opened in CincinnatiThe casino in Cincinnati, dubbed as the Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati, is planned to be opened by the end of 2012 at the Broadway Commons. Some ground breaking developments are expected to be made by the developers of this casino, Rock Gaming and who are being partnered by the Las Vegas gambling giants Caesars Entertainment, about the construction project worth around $400 million. They have also secured the services of the well-known casino veteran Kevin Kline to take up the post of the general manager of the casino. He is expected to be a very significant part of the development of the property by looking after the everyday operations of the project.

The target group of the Horseshoe Casino will most probably be the relatively more serious gamblers who play with much higher budgets on their limits to gambling than the normal day to day gamblers. The construction for the massive complex sprawling over 350,000 square foot is supposed to begin in just a couple of weeks. The 42 year old Kline used to be the assistant general manager of the Horseshoe Hammond, which is among the most popular gambling spots in the casino market of Chicago which is worth $2 billion.

Four casinos were authorized in Ohio by the voters of the state in a ballot in 2009. Almost 2,100 jobs in construction are expected to come out of the local project. And after opening in the last part of the next year, the casino, which will be open 24 hours for all seven days of the week, should employ around 1,700 people. It is also expected to hit the mark of attracting up to 6 million customers every year and generating annual revenue totalling almost $517 million.
